The Runaways

The film will chronicle the meteoric rise of the group 'The Runaways', and subsequent fall of the same dive.
Kristen Stewart will play Joan Jett, singer and guitarist. Dakota Fanning, the young actress, will play another member of the group, Cherie Currie.

'The Runaways' was a punk rock group founded in the mid-seventies and was composed exclusively of teenage girls who had some glory years with hits such as 'Queens of Noise' 'Neon Angels,' Born to Be Bad 'or' Cherry Bomb. " The group disbanded in 1979 and some of its members tried to launch their solo careers, but without much success.
